MALENA CATERING SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTS THE GIJÓN RESPONSIBLE TOURISM DECALOGUE

Malena Catering, with its Tierra Norte Sustainable Catering brand, has successfully implemented the Gijon Responsible Tourism Decalogue in 2016.

Since 2014, Gijon Calidad Turística (Tourist Quality) and the  Club de Empresas de Turismo de Negocios (Business Tourism Enterprise Club) have been coordinating this project which, with the engagement and work of the enterprises, has allowed Gijon to become consolidated as a sustainable destination.

Tierra Norte Catering offers a creative, sustainable and healthy culinary offer, committing to Asturian, organic and neighbourhood produce. This Sustainable Catering brand is based on the principle of respect for the environment, the use of Asturian seasonal produce and social awareness.

Together with Malena Catering – Tierra Norte Sustainable Catering, in 2016, another three enterprises and entities associated with Gijon Calidad Turistica, Eco-logica, CIFP Hosteeria and Gijon Tourism, and bnft TALASO have successfully passed the Decalogue implementation process and now form part of the Gijon Responsible Tourism acknowledged enterprises.
