SPORTING EVENTS, CONFERENCES AND FAIRS IN GIJON THROUGHOUT OCTOBER

October is traditionally one of the busiest months, chosen by organizations and institutions for their congresses and events. This year Gijón stands out for hosting, in addition to conferences, an important sporting event that will be held in the city for 3 consecutive years: GIJÓN OPEN ATP 250. This year it will be from October 8 to 16 at the Adolfo Suárez Sports Hall.

During the first weekend, Gijón hosts the VII International Conference on ASDD,  the 40th International Youth Meetings: Cabueñes, and the National Platform of Erasmus Students Network.

October continues with the 12^th International Conference and 16^th National Conference on Ergonomics and Psychosociology  at Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura and Espacio Mascotas at the Luis Adaro Fairgrounds.

In the last fortnight, Gijón will host, at its Conference Centre, the SEFSE National Conference as well as the 18^th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Society of Food Safety and Quality,  Urban Days and Glomicave at Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura and the State Network of Neighbourhood Women at the Centro de Cultura del Antiguo Instituto.
